Mobile Photo-Editing Apps
Very rarely can I take a photo on my phone and it comes out perfect. Life, as I know it, is always better with a filter slapped on it. Thankfully, there are many apps available that turn the ordinary into something so much more. And while my time on the gram is far more transient than it once was, I still like to develop my pictures in a way that adds a little scrap of my personality. Here are a few of my favoured editing apps:
Once I figured out how to use Lightroom, it became a game-changer. I have very particular presets that I use to try and keep my photos somewhat uniform.
I think pretty much everyone I know uses VSCO to change the mood of their photos. The number of filters and presets available is ridiculous. There’s so much to choose from and you end up spending quite a bit of time playing around with all that’s on offer.
CALLA is a random filter camera of film replacement type. It’s very hipster and very on trend.
I love Snapseed purely for the “Perspective” feature. I’m severely anal about adjusting perspective distortion, keeping all elements straight.
Whether it’s sharpening or blurring something out, I’m all for Facetune so long as people are honest about their use of it.
