Bidding Farewell to Warmer Weather

Tonight is Bonfire Night, and according to the calendar of thine own self, it marks the day that I officially transition to autumn/winter attire. The season calls for the relinquishment of strappy tops and sundresses, but I’m not quite ready to bid farewell to the trusted camisole, which, arguably, is the most versatile piece in my wardrobe. I’ve had this black satin one for years, and it’s ultimate for layering. It’s got me through job interviews and date nights alike.

Wear it on its own, under a blazer, or over a t-shirt. Even better, wear it to bed. Colder climates need not extinguish the lace cami.
